Nasty Frames Independent Film Festival

Video McNasties presents Nasty Frames: Summer Slaughter! After a wild inaugural year in 2020, we’re back with another Nasty Frames Independent Film Festival. We’ve scoured the darkest recesses of the indie film world to bring you more of the wildest horror, action, thrillers, cult/grindhouse/exploitation nostalgia and whatever other weirdness we could sit through without wanting to clawing out our eyes. We are still hosting part of this summer’s event online. To kick off things off, however, we’ve teamed up with the newly-reopened Staircase Theatre – now known as People Under the Staircase – to present an exclusive IN-PERSON, TWO-NIGHT-ONLY, DOUBLE BILL screening on Friday, August 27th and Saturday, Aug 28th! Friday will begin with a showcase of some of the nastiest short films from Ontario’s most deranged filmmakers, followed by J.P. Langois’ feature-length bikersploitation masterpiece, The Impalers!
